Collection notes: This pile was whipped into a beautiful birthday cake of color and texture, roses and succulents and dried bulb greens draped on top. I am getting buzzed by a bumble bee as I take notes. There is so much green here. Many growing things, and beautiful trees competing for the love of the birds.
House lots are small and the corresponding majority of houses are small. Despite close living each lot has abundant established landscaping with a huge variety of plants. There are many landscaping crews but the norm seems to be to leave the plant refuse in the street.
